Classy old pro available at a price
At 8/1, the classy six year-old gelding, Old Time Hockey, figures to be a generous price given his recent form. That effort followed a pair of second –place finishes in the March 7 Challenger Stakes and January 24 Grade 3 Tampa Bay Stakes. Lucky Lotto a dubious second choice
Despite a resume lacking notable stakes experience, Lucky Lotto is the 4/1 second choice for trainer Edward Barker. The seven year-old was competitive in a pair of Belmont Park allowance races, finishing third on April 29 and second on May 29. Lucky Lotto has won 8 of 32 career starts for earnings of $334,713.
